Thank you to all of you who were so supportive about my subchorionic hemmorhage. I just wanted to update that I went for a follow up sonogram today and it's gone!!! :) Everything looks perfect. I couldn't believe how much my baby looked like a baby at 8 1/2 weeks! Amazing!!! We could even see it's fingers!!! : )

I am almost 8 weeks pregnant and I felt cramping in the middle of the nite (no bleeding though) and panicked and went to the ER. They did an sono and the baby looked fine...the heart beat was normal (188 beats per minute) and everything looked fine. I had a doctor's appointment for an ultrasound today to check on the status of my hematoma. I was told that, because this was not a routine appointment, it would cost only $100 instead of the usual $250. I was told this by three different women working at my doctor's office. Pregnancy is wonderful, but it is putting some additional stress on my relationship with my boyfriend. I am so frustrated with his seeming refusal to grow up and be responsible. He's upset with me because I'm being uber-bitch. I don't think I am, but maybe I am.

I am 18w1d pregnant.  Earlier in this pregnancy I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma.  I thought I was in the clear after an u/s scan showed the SH to be improving and I haven't bled in about a month, until last night.  I started bleeding again.  Bright red.  Called the dr, dr on call told me to go to L&D.  Went in, the midwife listened to ( Read more... )

I had my ultrasound this morning to recheck the subchorionic hematoma I have.  During my U/S I asked if we could take a peek at the gender.  We did.  The tech said she is pretty sure she saw girl parts...but there was a shadow or something that made her think it could be a boy but she said if it IS a boy.... it's not obvious..so she said she is ( Read more... )

About a month ago I started to bleed at almost 11 weeks along.  I started off with spotting... that turned to HEAVY bleeding.  Like dripping down my legs, heavier than my period.  I had 4 ultraounds, all confirmed that the baby was fine,  but could not really determine what or why I was bleeding... only that there was a slight bleed near my cervix ( Read more... )
